Best FAC Air?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Been approved my FAC so ive been looking at FAC air rifles (aswel as rimfires :boogy:)

What rifles perform well as FAC?

Would it be worth me getting my S10 turned up to 30 ftlbs or just flogging it and buying something else?

Ive heard they get around 60 shots from the bottle, which at that power seems pritty decent to me, and i know the gun shoots well.

Anyone got any experience with FAC S10's or any other FAC air rifles

You are missing a trick then. .20 cal Rapid is one of the finest rifles out there, especially at FAC levels. Mine is turned down to 20ft-lbs to get the extra shots out of a fill, but it will happil

Ghillies I don't think many people would use 30ft lb in a barn lol

I've got a full length HW80 with a V-mach kit and Titan no2 spring stuck up it. Its got a heavy MTC taipan scope on it and a rather heavy Parkerhale rimfire rated mod on the end and it shoots fantast

Nice one

You can swap my FAC Ultra .22 MS for a Sub12 version?

Save me fecking about with FAC, cabinets shooting land etc.....

Turn it up as much as you want bud!

Have to be a straight swap though as it's sentimental

If going FAC Air theirs only one Rifle Adam

THEOBEN RAPID You know it makes Sense and Cheaper than a Sub 12 ft lbs Rapid as well alot of second

hand bargains out there bud, also 4 cals as well bud .177, .20, .22, .25 and what ever power level to match,

17 ft lbs best with .177, 27 ft lbs .20 , 32 ft lbs .22 & up to 45-47 ft lbs works well with .25 big boy cal

Ask Simon Pianoman about them as it was his posts that made me get one and to be honest i leave my BRNO mod 2 rimmy in the cabinet these days.

Once you get used to shooting it there aint a cure for wanting another.

Its making just over 20ft/lbs but doesn't have that much recoil.

I've been practicing like mad with it for ages and spent a small fortune on pellets and just love it.

I've shot bunnies out to 50 yards and you can hear the RWS Superfields walloping their skulls with a really loud crack.

I've went down range to about 30 yards and you can't hear hardly anything when its fired, just the pellet whistling past and an almost simultanious thwack when it reaches its target.

This guns a lifer for me.

Better off selling an buying fac, that way you don't de value the s10 an you will have to spend cash on it. What you could do is sell the ranger an but a ranger 80 fac lol

No im keeping the ranger for the shooting comps mate & i wont be buying another daystate
