paulus 26 Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 i watched a thing last night on bbc4 about the sulpher mines. blokes walk through all the poisonous gasses with just a hanky stuffed in their mouths fill 2 buckets up with 1 and 1/2 times their body weight in sulpher then carry it back for miles to get it weighed, they get paid roughly $5 per trip. most die young from lung desiese. I studied Mining Geology at Camborne School of Mines and have been down a fair few mines, we loved it.
