Most x crosses can catch rabbit and fox, but its the hares where they can come unstuck if your living in the fens. If your mouching about hunting up, then most lurchers can kill a hare, but if you've been invited for a days coursing then unless you've got some saluki in there, the only thing you'll be bringing home is a truly knackered dog. But if i had to pick a cross, it would have to be a saluki x, 24 inch dog, cracking for all edible quarry My bitch is 24", saluki based with collie in there. She is a cracking all rounder and so versatile. Gaz shame you own her you get a lot of haters with saluki x's, but put the time in, and they take some beating!!! Quote Link to post
