bird 10,014
with the name alrounder means all quarry (rabbits, daytime hares ,fox, deer) somting with saluki in the mix then .Maybe bullx grey x saluki x collie grey, a good 1/4 saluki for stamina . Most lurchers can do rabbits and the odd fox+ deer , its the day hares they would come unstuck, to be classed as alrounder . all pre ban as its only rabbits now! Quote Link to post
nothernlite 18,260
is there a point in having a allrounder now when you can only do rabbits and rats ? 1 Quote Link to post
Rogue and running dog 26
It will be for his trips to Ireland and retrieving shot game Quote Link to post
day worker 296
i was thinking along the lines of a whippet collie grey or whippet grey! how much difference would a quarter saluki make to stamina? Quote Link to post
gamerooster 1,179
a good healthy pup, from either 2 alrounders doing the job well, or a cracking lamping dog, to a good daytime bitch, but dont put the work in, and no matter how good the breeding is, it will never make anything. But if i had to pick a cross, it would have to be a saluki x, 24 inch dog, cracking for all edible quarry Quote Link to post
owendbowendb 132
collie x grey X saluki grey, out of good grafters who have proved themselves at there 'game', would be my choice mate Quote Link to post
