height and weight

Recommended Posts

As most if you have probably seen pictures of my dog I ain't going to add one but you have seen his build.

He's 21tts and weighs 32lb is that a good weight for his height and build. Iv never weight him untill today and he is heavier than I thought but he his in good shape.

Some dogs look as though they shouldn't weigh much at all, but when you weigh them they are a lot heavier than you'd think. A lot depends on bone: dense bones are a lot heavier than less dense bones, and a very fit, strong dog will have denser bones than one that is unfit: same with humans. Also, muscle weighs more than fat, so if the dog is very fit it can also be heavier than if it is unfit. Some people try to get their dogs very light in the belief that they will run better, but each dog should be assessed on its performance over a period of time to find the right weight for the dog.
