Not really any more then anyone on here when it comes to the police.

 

Your problem with him is that he is better off then you! like i said before if it had been someone else abusing the police they would have been hailed as some sort of peoples hero

to think i would be jealous of a nappy wearing tory dont think so pmsl never abused the police and dont intend to i was brought up to respect people that respect you and if the police are fair with you thats ok give them respect anyway this can go on all day you have your opinion and ive got mine so

respect people that respect you, fair enough! just a shame that does not include rich/posh people 'nappy wearing tory' lol, he might be a good lad to speak to, he has certainly come across pretty well whenever i seen him on the telly in the past. And so far his crime is to loose patience with a copper, who lets face it was probably baiting him and trying to be as jobsworth as humanly possible.

 

In the past I have been guilty of writing people off based on the sound of their plummy voices, deciding i didnt like them because they sounded too posh or ditching them at interview because of it. I have realised that in doing that i was actually doing what I disliked them for (discriminating) before they had done anything to me.

 

Respect people that respect you, by all means but that needs to start with the way we see others

The largest loss of life from any rank range in WWI was the junior officers who were decimated leading their men from the front.

 

 

Ref WW1, im not claiming anything, its a fact. A higher percentage of junior officers were killed than any other rank.

 

First off, that's two different things..

 

If we take your , second comment as the correct one, there were still far, far less junior officers killed than the normal rank and file because there was a far smaller number of them to begin with. Your selective application of the facts in this particular case kind of make your use of them irrelevant..

 

It wasnt deliberately selective. Im just not very wordy. I spend 5 mins every time i post spell checking it and trying to make it sound right.

 

He made a comment that basically implied the "officer class" sat back, told sent Tommys over the top without a care in the world. I tried to point him in the right direction by saying that it just wasnt the case and that in war, especially WWI, the "officer class" were dieing at a higher rate than the Tommys. There were less junior officers than tommys, yes, but im assuming that this so called "officer class" is fewer in number than the "working class"? Just because i didnt say what i mean doesnt mean that what i said or mean is irrelevant
