Guest bezza
Buch, your loyalty to your 'betters' and in particular to the Windsors is touching. I cannot see that you've made any other points worth replying to. Your last paragraph displays a breathtaking naivety.
Buch 145
You not made any points at all ... your not some kind of rebel you know because you dont like the monarchy. Republicans always turn to the "your a cap doffer" argument when they have nothing to say. You say your not a communist, im actualy interested to know your political persuasion if you dont mind. I dont have one. I look out for me and my own. That being said i could never vote Labour because of the hunting ban alone and i dont see how any one who was into field sports ever could.
Mrs Mole 74
As usual we've got back to class etc..Tories or Labour.. I'm not even going there. Should Mitchell resign because he called a police officer a pleb, no. They are often worksworth, i just wish i had the guts to call one of the over zealous idiots a name.. But he should resign for lying and being a gutless wonder, yes.. Anyway, i bet it's the police officer or friend of, who leaked this to the press, is it the national interest?? no..

Malt 379
The largest loss of life from any rank range in WWI was the junior officers who were decimated leading their men from the front. Ref WW1, im not claiming anything, its a fact. A higher percentage of junior officers were killed than any other rank. First off, that's two different things.. If we take your , second comment as the correct one, there were still far, far less junior officers killed than the normal rank and file because there was a far smaller number of them to begin with. Your selective application of the facts in this particular case kind of make your use of them irrelevant..

Class discrimination happens both ways! the guy lost his temper with a copper ffs am fairly sure he wont be the last regardless of how/by who he was brought up by.

Is this not just another case of thinking we are above the law? I am sure that if the lurcher lad did get arrested he would not risk loosing his job though. People bend the rules in life daily for many reasons but it seems that the biggest issue some on this thread have is that the guy that has done it is posh and a 'toff'
foxfan 479
No its not that hes 'posh and a toff' its that he has taken an oath of office and is in a position of extreme responsibility. Most people expect someone like that to conduct themselves in a proper manner.

I know mate and I agree that he should be pulled up etc. I was commenting more on the posts relating to the guys class and being a posh toff etc etc that come from people that have a problem with him because he has had better opportunities than themselves Absolutely people in those positions should expect to be called for their behaviour Edited September 25, 2012 by lapin2008
