unclepesta 101 Posted September 24, 2012 Report Share Posted September 24, 2012 any one tell me where i can get some good reasonably priced fox snares, been to me local farm supplier and they were £3.95 each' bit expensive i thought. oh yes woodga makes quality and knows how to use snares effectivly he will see you right on the sets and types too.contact him on here,if your wantin another source try trapworks website his stuff has been made well under inspiration of glenn waters a tried and tested mentor of many on his site you can view wires.there are others who can help you out.woodga makes a very good fox wire fast closin slick simple tealer and very effective if you know your sets,you can make your own but unless you require hundreds at a time and use regular its gonna be easier just to buy pro pre mades,some dont have tools or faciltys to make things,thats why all the guys who do it and live it keep it alive should be supported for offering a fair and honest starting block for beginers,if your new or old to snaring just using woodga's sets with plastic sleeve is simplicity and if you buy them you will learn just by seeing the propper tool for the job,peg and gun a while back was able to make but the chap aint seemed to posted for a long while, snaring he likes and is efficient at it from what i can see i wanted a day or two out with phil foxing,he was putting plenty of sets down killing good head of fox he left a few old posts but photos are gone,pro predator control by any standard.atb.
