RISE to stage RALLY at BIRR GAME FAIR

it also put people under an obligation to attend the fair.surely the capatail is the best place for a rally with the antis marching on the same day.heavy security tv coverage assured FREE.

The antis only organised their so called protest after RISE and The Great GameFairs of Ireland got together.

Surely a few euro is worthy of supporting your sport and a day out.

But that's your own buisness.

Well Said Albert, Neill, SAM, and Paul and all the loyal supporters around our national globe, keep our Country Sports going, and the National Game Fair at Birr Castle is the place to show our strenght within the law, and stand staunchly behind Rise and IWTF on the day and in front of a packed audience of Sportsmen and Women who love Country Sports whether it be in the fields ,rivers, lakes,or Woodlands of Ireland and further a field.

See you all in the arena on the day.

I am afraid to say that I consider the mentality of your statement provides its own condemnation!

As I said it is not at all about boosting gate receipts - RISE approached us and we were happy to facilitate them in providing a venue where the rally will take place amongst a guaranteed crowd of supporters. In terms of your allegation 'that these people' by which I would assume you mean me couldn't care less about terrier & lurcher men - I would suggest you look at the prize list for Birr and answer me this - where else would you see such an investment in terrier & lurcher events - except at our other fair at Shanes Castle.

Well FF it would appear that wish have some issues with the fair at Birr and you are entitled to hold that viewpoint. We are not asking people to come to the fair solely to support the RISE rally but rather to have a good day out at Ireland's premier game and country fair AND when they are there take the opportunity to demonstrate their support for RISE.

If you really wish to just demonstrate your support for RISE and NOT give 'extra gate receipts' to the fair - then PM me and I will send you a ticket.

I was under the illusion that rise did not support IWTF,could be wrong.

I can't speak for RISE - but my impression was that they support all legal sports as I understand the IWTF do. The IWTF is still a young organisation but I have been impressed by the enthusiasm of its members and committee and how quickly they have got organised. We in the Great game Fairs of Ireland team have been happy to give them our support. And I hope I and my colleagues can continue to support them.

Don't worry FF you wont be taken for an ol' idiot.

With your way of thinking, we'll leave that up to yourself.

Now now Neil thats no way for a chairman of a country wide organisation to be

talking to people ,Ferret Features could be a member .

The man or woman has a point ,we never had to pay into a RISE rally before

Ff the rise rally is a worthy enough cause regardless of your views on the fair, many men and woman from are fair country travelled to London a few years ago to show support and at there own expense, surly you can stretch to attending this rally in our own back yard.

Fat man RISE may not be giving there support to the IWTF of that I don't know, but surely in showing our support and standing side by side in our battles not just there's we will in time gain there support.

JH,

No one is being asked to 'pay into a RISE rally' what they are paying for is admission to Ireland's premier game and country fair AND when they are there to demonstrate their support for RISE. If you wish to demonstrate your support for RISE and NOT YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE FAIR - PM me and I am happy to send you a free ticket!. Ergo, you don't have to pay to go to a RISE rally.
