I saw my first wild goshawks today while out exploring which was cool and I am more and more certain the deer I nearly hit was a red, which would be another first for me.

I'm willing to bet they were actually Buzzards

devon, dorset, somerset and cornwall all great places to hunt and have found that they all seem to specialise in one quarry. so if you want somethink in particular just cross the county borders and there it is

This comment needs elaborating on tell us more? I live in Somerset but do a fair bit in Devon and Dorset too so I find this quite interesting.

Porlock! what a twat eh! LOL!!

Purbeck is more like it.. VERY similar places funnily enough...

Bush I like you, you actually have a sense of humour and the ability to laugh at yourself, that is so very rare on this site most members would want to cyberfight and then spend the next six pages trying to measure cocks with me for daring to challenge their geographical knowledge but fair play you took my comment in jest as intended and corrected your mistake in good nature and a joke what a breath of fresh air

I've found that the counties tend to have one quarry in abundance. Each county specialising in 1 quarry

Cheers for that Leveller, very kind of you, i totally agree with you though, some folk really do take things on here far too seriously, hard to put your finger on.. reputations to keep up, nobodys wanting to be somebody.... too much testosterone knocking about or maybe folk spending too much time 'on here' and not enough time 'out there'.. life throws enough shit at you as it is, be content with yourselves...... keep it real.... and keep the peace!!
