Brian-911 210
I ordered a leather collar and lead off of eBay for 14 quid it arrived and I was quite impressed nicely made good bit of kit. Problem was too big for the dog (my mistake should of measured up first) so anyhow I message this person back and let them know it's too big which I except is my fault but would they be willing to change it to a smaller collar if I also bought another set for my other dog? Yes okay send the other one back and we will make it for that size. So I pay for another lead and collar Sunday and sent the collar i already have back today. Anyway I get home tonight and there's the 2 collars and a lead here....but the standard of workmanship up to the orginal is crap and they have used different cheap fittings to the one I received first. Pissded right off really

Pissded right off really i would approach then & tell them that the second collar isnt the same quality & ask for your money back , if they had refunded some of the origonal money back to you to make amends that would have been different & an explamation note , but as they didnt i would certainly contact them
RossM 8,149
Aye you'll struggle to get a decent leather with decent fixing on it for £14.
B.P.R 2,798
i just bought a cheap collar for the pup as shes growing and dont want to buy anything decent just yet. got it from blackdog trading and ive got to say its no bad.... only thing is the D loop isnt directly opposite the wide part of the collar so you end up with the strap on the dogs windpipe.... it will do her for a while then im going to get 2 straight collars 1.5" wide all round. some shite quality going about tbh......just look in pets at home

Brian-911 210
Ahh Fook it I'll keep them for now and get a real nice one for them both when fully grown.
paulus 26
a good well made collar will outlast the dog, unlike a cheap one, which will let you down when you most need it
Carraghs Gem 1,699
Always use cheap-ish collars for pups as I will be replacing them with more expensive collars and leads when they finish growing (and stop teething lol)
