Don't know if I should be worried of not but skye my old lurcher that I rescued last summer wont stop puking, she is somewhere between 10 and 13 (or possibly older) and seems to be in good health but she just keeps on being sick.

This has been going on for about three weeks now, she is eating and drinking fine, passing good solid stools with no sign of being wormy and the vet hasn't been able to fine anything wrong either but she is sick at least twice a day almost every day and some times more than twice a day, no reching or anything just Blurgh pile of vomit and then back to being fine.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Pete

Something tells me your old bitch is not long for this world. I'm sorry to say this, but if she were my dog, and nearing the end of her natural life, I would think very hard about having her put down.

Try feeding smaller meals several times a day...

She has just been sick for the fifth time today, no blood out of either end, just bright yellow vomity bile.

I wouldn't normally bother and say she was just being a bit sicky but its becomming far to regular now.

Well she has been puking up all night and this morning too so its back to the vet at 3pm

not the same vet ..

Nope different vet this time, they have taken blood tests to test for liver and kidney function and the vet reckons it could be either liver/kidney failure or more likely a stomach ulser.

Just got to wait for the blood tests to come back now
