Yes you can educate folk about hunting, and most kids don't get the credit for being smart. But when if you asked them to kill a rabbit, they would look at you as if your were off your head. That's not to say they aren't educated in hunting or where meat comes from. It's just they won't kill it themselfs , IMO that's perfectly cool and tbh hunters find thier calling and your either cut out for it or your not. Nowt worse than doing something that your heart is really not into. Not knocking you , and wish you all the best, but just remember that folk are just not into that and nothing will make em change that view. Don't mean there gonba turn into some ignorant anti lol Then on the other hand you could also put folk off meat . And turn them into a veggie haha Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Not talking about asking people to kill something but just to show kids the ferrets, let them pick the ferrets up, explain the different types of nets and how they work, explain how it all happens. how the rabbits bolt etc etc. Even just covering it from an understanding of how it works and what happens to the rabbits will hopefully mean that kids would not grow up with an alternative view on it all then what the media ram down everyones neck I got asked to do a talk on stuff like the above for a local scout group a while back but never got round to doing it, I may ask them if they still want me to do it. They got to be carefull who they allow into schools. Take that sick f**k from here m, who was busted for kiddy porn. Imagine if he was trolling round schools giving talks and influencing children, possibly even taking them out for a day or two, although I would like to think most parents woukdnt let the fact he was a fellow hunter influence them and thinking he was a good guy for giving up his time to educate kids, just a thought like. And have got to Agree there are some in EDUCATION that try to take advantage,but they END up on Suspension till matters are cleared up ! Then Bumped usually or Resign. I was asked to do it for the kids in my eldests class and had been asked a year or two ago to do a talk at the scout group but its not something i thought about actively going out and trying to do further a field Quote Link to post Share on other sites
