Also it was then thought it had no medical purpose. On a nutshell the governent couldn't profit from it.

Nowadays it's just pure ignorance in keeping it illegal. Don't want a nation of stoners ( but a nation of potential alkis is just dandy)

I'd rather work alongside someone who had had a joint at lunchtime, rather than some guy half pissed. I've yet to work on a site where half the workforce isn't having a toke. Weirdly enough the work still gets done . Ideally no one should be under the influence , but that's life.

Hopefully we will see hemp making a comeback in medical ways. Also with the search for alternative ways other than oil, which one day will dry up.

Didn't the states ban it first for those reasons, then put pressure on the rest of the world to follow them under threat of ecconomic sanctions? :hmm: I'm sure they ain't happy with the Dutch for their stance on it, I seem to remember reading it somewhere..

Yea the yanks zero drug policy certainly sways nations opinions. Having said that, some states have allowed it under the guise in most cases of medicinal use. Oh the bible belt must be raging lol
