pie-eater 377
My ferrets will happily take wood pigeon collared doves and magpies. Ive fed crow once but they wouldnt touch it until I plucked some feathers exposing the meat. Not sure if crows have something n their feathers which was puttin my ferrets off or what was going on. 1 Quote Link to post
DeepEarth 104
Don't think i've ever given the ferrets something that they won't eat. Crow, magpie, pigeon, they love them all. 2 Quote Link to post
derbylad1 293
Got to agree. In nearly 40 years of having ferrets, never known one to turn their noses up at any fresh meat 3 Quote Link to post

tsteve9999 456
I fed mine a shot crow a couple of years ago and they ate it all but as I cleaned the cage there were 3 huge roundworms left, They were 3"-4"long and looked the same as dog worms, so I haven't given them crows since. 1 Quote Link to post
DogMagic 461
Mine love birds. Pigeons, roadkill pheasants, etc. Iv given them maggies and rook without a problem. Only once given them crows. I had a days crow docoying once, shot a fair few. Took 2 home for the ferrets. The rest were left behind a fence for the farmer to deal with as agreed. The ferrets didnt touch them. A few days later i was back on the shooting ground and the crows were still there........not even the foxes wanted them! 1 Quote Link to post
