gnasher16 31,346
Gnasher if you where walking a 6mth old pup and a bull breed of any type made a beeline for your pup that was on the lead...would you do nothing and risk your pup being ruined for life and injured..i would of done the same with any damage causing breed but a Chihauhua FFS.. I wouldnt do anything no.....simply because ive seen and been around enough bull terrier type dogs to be able to know when one is running up friendly and when ones running up aggressive........i also dont judge a book by its cover and presume if its a bull terrier its going to mangle my pup.......sorry but i think kicking a dog round the cannister when it hasnt done anything but look like a criminal is a bit strong. littlefish 596
Gnasher if you where walking a 6mth old pup and a bull breed of any type made a beeline for your pup that was on the lead...would you do nothing and risk your pup being ruined for life and injured..i would of done the same with any damage causing breed but a Chihauhua FFS.. Sometimes small dogs can be he cheekiest and quickest to cause problems.......they haven't been trained, socialised or encouraged to be mannerly - just carried about or allowed to run riot once the novelty of owning a dog wears off. So yes, I wouldn't hesitate to launch my boot into one that was causing problems...........especially attacking a dog on a lead, which can cause temperatment problems for the future, perhaps causing a fear/aggression reaction.
littlefish 596
Now DEFRA want to amend the DDA, to any dog type, and even on your own private property there has been loads of reports of staffie types etc mentioned in the news. Then on the radio yesterday there was a debate about guide dogs being attacked by other dogs. The government without a shadow of doubt influence peoples thoughts through media. And now it has just struck me on here, the amount of new people asking about bull x type breedings, wanting photos etc? Isn't it bloody awfull that this big brother/nanny state we now live in makes you have to think like this. A blind relative was telling me just last week that they were making their way along a street recently (without a guide dog) when a dog ran out of a garden barking and jumping at them. When they started calling for help, the owner then appeared and tried to blame the blind person for the whole situation. Disgusting!
