Hi there,

 

In this episode of VerminHuntersTV we are dedicating it to long range static hunting with a sub 12 ft / lb air rifle.

 

The footage was filmed over the past 5 months, some footage you may have already seen some is brand new and being shown today for the first time.

 

All the shots that you are about to see are filmed with me either using a .177 Tench regulated BSA Ultra, a .177 calibre Weihrauch HW100 S or a .22 calibre Edgar Brothers XVI all producing around 11.5 ft / lbs of muzzle energy.

 

This episode was put together to show the true potential of a sub 12 ft / lb air rifle if used in the right weather conditions with lots of practice and training and using the correct shooting technique while staying within your own shooting capabilities.

 

By showing this episode we are not saying everyone should go out and shoot vermin at long ranges, far from it.

 

There is no point and getting as close to your quarry and then shooting it humanely is far better than taking risky long range shots especially if your own shooting capability isn’t up to it.

 

The episode just shows what can be achieved if time, effort and practice are put in to improve your own shooting technique and capability.

Thanks lads for the comments, Im a bit shocked to tell you all the truth .

 

I was expecting a hammering from lots of the regs and non regs for shooting at them ranges with a sub 12 . Nice to see i was wrong so far .
