What sort of hen were these birds bred off Bunny? these are bred from sib bred hens line of family of canaries that ae x bred from the start . difficult to explain time and knowledge as provided me with hens that give me a percentage of these types peaking at different generations . genes re very complex . but by trying to keep it simple helps . atb bunnys.

just seen this thread do you feed your birds any live food coming into breeding season bunny? and have you any experience with bullfinch mules

great to see you have taken an interest inta thread marky i dont feed live food these days mark , but have in yrs gone by AND yes i have bred one norwich cANARY BULLFINCH IN THE PAST , feeding mini meal worms is allways a good live feed i use to put a few in a container drop of codliveroil dry powdered milk on them fed as needed for the conditioning and when nestlings are about i have bread straight bullies but my sole interes over the last few yrs are my mules i have no doubt if wished the canary hens would use the meal worms the same if needed . but i have no need so keep it simple . IT IS ALLWAYS GOOD FOR TO KEEP FEEDERS when breeding mules as the bullfinch . hard xs to produce but a very fine sense of achievement if succesfull good luck atb bunnys.
