jimster68 123 Posted December 30, 2011 Report Share Posted December 30, 2011 ive been helped out no end by a few people of this site the main guy being MATT241075 ,he got me started by inviting me out on his permission ferreting with longnets and doing a few nights lamping ,after i had met him at a lurcher racing club .now a couple of years later ive got my own dog,ferrets ,locators,nets and permission and to be honest i cant get enough of it .ive been given working ferrets (deanflute,wabbit slayer)in genral most folk i have met have pretty much ok .althoughi did get an email of a guy who almost accused me of having his stolen dog ,despite the fact me having owned it for 3 years and me knowing the guy who bred it an reared it who passed it on to me . i also i bought some ferreting gear of the for sale section and went to pick it up from near stoke ,turns out the guy was an amature porn photographer who showed me a picture of his birds fanny . theres quite a few others whos names idont know or who ive met at the odd gamefair but ive got to admit theres also been one or two i wouldnt trust as far as i could throw em. Apart from that thl has helped me reconnect with lads I havnt seen in years and maybe wouldn't have remembered who they were because I was hunting from a very young age. Bosun11 - probally regrets living so close to me now, lent me his filter, gets me my puppy food, been on a few mooches and today lent me his rat trap to catch the fecker doing my nut in Johnny Boy - for lending me 2 books that i still look back to now, Ideation for advice along with/ Moll Rocky1 and Skycat and other mentioned Above/ JT for my opinel Knife/ and BorderScot for my First lamp! Also Johnny for my wormers, wouldnt have even made it this far without the site and the help. Probally forgot someone but as the site is a usefull tool and a brilliant site for banter and laughs. He's a sound lad who I consider a very good mate now. Met bird(ray) a real sound guy,malc 1 another top bloke, stoaty a real salt of the earth guy and a few more leepieman,collie/grey and miss lurcher bitch also know a few from before joining the site. Was supposed to of met lab but I cried off through fear of being anally violated by a gang of drunken scotsmen Seriously I'm gutted I couldn't make it as its not often you get a chance of a social meet up with lads from the other end of the country.
