jackson2kaii8 5 Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 My pups 2 front legs are turning in on the knuckle i was told this was from lack of exercise but the pup is healthy and is out all day running, what is the problem? They seem succeptable to this, something to do with the bones and tendons growing at different rates. Sometimes it can be cured with vetinary help and correct diet. Best of luck with it Cheers. It's called knuckling over, I was told that it's when the bones/ligaments/tendons etc grow too fast and at different rates resulting in th pups legs bowing. rapidjenky 97 Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 when you say meat, do you mean just meat? or meat mixed with dry food /veg ect? vet tried to tell me the other week when i was getting the pups second injection that he shouldent be on raw meat as it makes the grow to quickly, but once i explained that he is on minced meat with decent fresh veg minced in and then his proper puppy food threw out the rest of the day. plenty of goats milk and fresh fish she saw what i was doing was good for him. is the pup getting much calcium in her diet? i read before about a lad with similar problems who started to feed baby follow on milk and it improved, then i saw not to long a go 2 lads had there pups put to sleep because they got that bad.
