A sad goodbye to RED

With regret after mouth cancer was discovered after a routine teeth clean by the vets.

In the last week its really flared up and so the right choice to have him put to sleep friday .

He come from a rescue centre no real knowledge of home or type roughly 12 months old.

After a year of ownership he had a natural flare for marking and hearing was amazing.

Perfect company on your own able to keep watch and pickup on the other side of the hedge with no instruction.

Great with kids ferrets livestock not the fastest dog but would nail everthink in cover and tough as old boots.

 

So this is sad but also happy time looking back at 13 great working years of ownership of a cracking little dog.

 

Red last day out this sunday past
