rob190364 2,594
there will be no strain in the relationship if hes gay, there wont be a relationship. as for his woman to be she will be a white british christian or he will have no ties to me im afraid. I was about to ask if you were religious! I would have bet on it. I feel bad for your son, he should be able to make his own decisions . same people who moan about " the youth of today" say let kids make there own decisions there is a fine line and mine will be on the right side of that line. morals an discipline are things kids growing up today lack. some might say that it's immoral to drum into your kid that what's in his DNA is morally wrong! is it really in DNA tho? said the other day albeit tongue in cheek that you never see a gay down syndrome, something to think about. and before anyone starts i have no prob with the bandits or disabled. Yes, it is in your DNA bud. ......and how on earth would you know the sexuality of a person with down syndrome? you might have seen loads of gay people with down syndrome for all you know? seen plenty of downs with girlfriends, never seen one with a boyfriend I find it really odd that you've actually thought about this to be honest

kenny14 656
If homosexuality is in your DNA, does that mean that if someone's gay, then one or both of their parents would have to have been gay, and their ancestors too? Or does it skip certain generations, as baldness is claimed to?

I am not a parent, but I think there is a big gap between teaching your kids how to think for themselves and understand what is right and wrong (morals and discipline), to telling them to think like you and believe what you believe. Threatening to disown your own son for not following your own religion or marrying into the right religion is wrong in my opinion. Especially since its all a big bag of bollocks anyway, seriously you believe in talking snakes and worship a zombie? Sounds loopy to me, yet I wouldn't disown my family for not agreeing with me on that, that's more f****d up than God commanding people to smash babies heads on rocks (but only because the latter is bullshit ) you would be doing us all a favour by not reproducing. These genes must be mutating at an awful fast rate! With all the Dog breeding that's talked about on here, surely we must have some expert geneticists who could shed some light
