be interesting to see how they turn out,,with the trigger happy style of the mal crossed with weight and power of the presta ,could be a whole bunch of hassle for the untrained handler,,

Got to agree there!! them pups should only go to experienced handlers but if so could be very good at there job!!!!

they will go to people in the same sort of work as him both parents are fully trained attack dogs but he will even tell you that the presa bitch was a handfull to work with at the start and if you dont get them young dont bother with them but the malinois are a pleasure to work with

Could turn out pure evil if both the parents are both man aggressive! Not a cross for a novice.

What lines the presa from as there's presa then there's presa if you know what I mean.

the parents are very good with the family but a big no no with strangers and the presa was imported from spain i dont know what lines she is

Malinois is maybe my next dog but as i type im looking at 3 books i bought about them 6 months ago? They arent a dog that can be put in a kennel and forgot about and needs understanding before rushing in!

If the bloke is into that kind of work and bred these im sure he knows what hes doing!!

The Spanish import Presa's are usually the Barnacan bull bred dogs, or at least bred from dogs close to these lines I think. They were considered to be of the show type stock usually being a bit more squat and less rangy than a lot of the dogs imported direct from Curto. I suppose that part of these dogs jobs would be to look the part as well as act it so the cross would probably serve that purpose at least, as mentioned already though its not the sort of litter that could be farmed out to any old muppet.

I can't get my head round what the dogs will be for? The BM seems to be one of the best catch dogs, whilst a presa is a good man stopper. But crossing isn't going to give you both, it seems you have either a quick agile dog OR a big strong scary b*****d. So what is the benefit of watering down both sides for an all rounder when you canhave two dogs to be the best at two jobs? Not having a go, just curious what the dogs will be used for and why

i thought the same, maybe if you wanted a bigger type than a mal, but as good tenacity why not go for a DSD . They look real good dogs, and that bit bigger than a mal.

Lads i dont really see the point in this breed my self but the lad that bred them see's something in them but what i think he is trying to achieve is the look of the presa with the trainability of the malinois if i was in that game i would not bother with the presa and stick to the malinois ,have'n seen his dog they really impress as a breed ,i done some sleave work with it yesterday with him and for a dog that not that big by god it has some power but if he asked me to do it with the presa bitch i would tell him to go fcukem self that thing would swallow me along with the sleave ,but i would like to see a malinois x greyhound ,if i ever get the space and time i might try it
