I take them in the house when they're young for a run about and to get them used to being picked up and put down at will or I might keep one inside in a cage for a few days if it was ill, but I'd never keep them inside 24/7. To be honest it didn't smell as bad as you'd think as long as I cleaned them out daily. Mine are both neutured though so don't smell as much as non-neutured ferrets. I'd let them run around the room for an hour or so a day aswell while I sat on the floor having a beer.....the joys of single life!! Quote Link to post
