JLR 42
Got to put my 2 6month old pups in kennels for a week, they are wanting a vaccination certificate but i jabbed the pups myself. Anyone got any ideas as to how to get around this one? Anyone else had the same issue? JLR Quote Link to post
moonlighter 1,165
You carnt get round it. Same happened to my old dog, had to get him re vaccinated. Never jab them myself now as you can never put them in kennels Quote Link to post

ADAM C 232
I had the same problem with mt 2 whippets,my dad said take em to geyhound track and see vet there, cost me £17 per dog for up to date boosters plus he gave certs with the jabs.I thought that was pretty reasonable to be fair. paulus 26
its not illegal to buy jabs or jab your own dogs so why carnt you supply your own certificate Quote Link to post
Country Joe 1,411
The kennels in my area all insist that Vacs are up to date which includes boosters, which is unfair, I have always had my dogs vaccinated, but haver seen the need to booster, and never had a problem, in 43 years. moonlighter 1,165
Most want kennel cough vax too. Quote Link to post
chook1 184
Speak to the kennels and ask will they take your pups if they have been titre tested, if they will - then speak to your vets about these. http://www.vetsonline.com/actualites/detail/38433/fda-approval-for-vaccicheck-kit.html they are sold in the uk, how much your vet would charge though - i couldnt tell you but they should be cheaper than having full vacines again. Unfortunaly even if you did still have the sticker and put them on a card, unless you have a signature from a vet kennels still wont accept them. Quote Link to post
