dai dogs 1,193 Posted August 11, 2011 Report Share Posted August 11, 2011 the true wheaten terrier was bred and used as all purpose farm dog . used for hearding of cattle sheep also a rodent killer. how can you compare this type of dog to a dog thats been bred for the sole purpose of fighting to the death. imo the bull terrier blood was added to the wheaten terrier at some time to give it more of what some people thought it lacked. atb dai Quote Link to post

Great around terriers while working but a tw@t around the kennels....would fight his own shadow... And not all bull x are big meat head muscle bound animals .... But in my opinion there are alot of shit bull x and wheat x... Pedlars or immature owners putting any old bull or wheat over something they think is special... People buying pups from hearsay instead of watching the parents work first or knowing the breeding back ground of the dogs... Each to there own I suppose...mine is out every day with me on the pheasant rearing fields.... He takes more than his fair share of stuff spring summer autumn and winter.... Saying that I have seen better bull x and wheat x than him .... thank god for the dedicated lads that test and strive to improve on what they already have..
