the very best and the very worst lol fox dogs ive seen are the plain old bull x but ive had pure greyhound that absolutely slaughtered foxs so lurchers bred with the right greyhound in the mix should hopefully make good foxing lurchers pre ban of course :tongue2:

american stag:Unmistakably a Longdog, typically Greyhound in appearance, but with much more rugged feet, thicker skin, and more coat. They have excellent eyesight and some will use their scenting ability to wind (detect scent in the air) game. They have three recognized coat types, the shag, broken, and slick. Some are known to approach the speed of a track Greyhound (hot blood), but all have greater endurance and durability.

australian stag:

The Australian Staghound is a hybrid of the Greyhound and the Scottish Deerhound dogs that were brought to Australia by %931850)'>European settlers. They were used for hunting in Australia dating back to the late 18th century, but have not been recognized as a distinct breed. The Australian Staghound is a distant cousin of the American Staghound, with a distinct bloodline that's native to Australia. Staghounds are bred specifically for coursing, or hunting by sight.[1] "Australian Staghounds" are the type of dog known as "lurchers" in the United Kingdom.

depends how many foxs your getting an if your running single doubled or tripled or as some idiots quadrupled lol jackers will catch an kill odd uns but when your talking numbers it seperates the propa fox dogs from the 1 a month foxing lurcher,.

yep go along with that, any x will take a fox the odd 1 month or so. But really to do them pre ban , say 6-9 in a week and they all get bite sooner or later. You wont beat a well bred bullxgrey, from proven stuff. Its not they can catch+kill better than other xs, its the tenacity that they have and pain they can handle, that most xs dont have. And thats the big differnce , and thats why i think they are the best for fox control
