Simoman 110
I think its one of those films that inspires a lot of nostalgia, because my old man goes on about it like it's the best film in history but when i watched it at about 17 i thought it was shit and depressing. I'll probably be the same with some of today's films when my lad grows up. Spot on, remember watching it as a kid and thinking how depressing, then somebody bought it me as a xmas present a few years ago and i loved it. Another good film along similar lines was made by channel four called the nature of the beast based on the book by Janni Howker, tried for years to get the film to no avail........ gnasher16 31,415
For a film with such poor acting it was certainly a great little film....must admit i could never understand what they was on about half the time but its still the sort of film that at some stage rings a bell with most normal everyday men.....i wonder if they realised at the time people would still be talking about it and hold it in such high regard all these years later.
