nice day with the stinkies

Had a nice morning with the stinkies, and some of my old mates. Dont see them that much these days, had a good laugh+crack :-*. My one mate brought is 8 year old nephew, and is young 12 month old colliex. His pup was ok ,but got over excited at times but as it getts older should calm down a bit . Henry the little boy loved it, he as been a couple of times before :-* Bryn was Brill is marking was spot on,he as got a great nose. He got bolter, a great catch good job as there aint really many there now, as they have had quite a few from the place the last couple of months 3 of them had young so thats it now for now!. So had a good day with good mates, Bryn done good. Wolves won , England won against French lol a great day all round :-*

Nice one bird look like a good day was had did you not take your pup to watch ?

 

No mate, i take Tod out mooching with Bryn, and he uses is nose great for a pup. It was really today to help my mates colliex pup to get started, I will use Tod for other things this year, if i think he is ready :thumbs:

Some lovely open ground too, very nice!

 

I was just thinking that! :D

 

I'd give my right arm toe nail cuttings for some decent open ground like that. Then again I'm also jealous of the lads with their dry stone walled sheep grazing fields... oh and them that has grounds with reeds for a bit of daytime mooching and...! The grass is always greener on the other side, so I should be thankful for the permission I have I suppose. ;)

 

It's always good to see young'uns out (dogs and humans) and a nice end to the ferreting season I suppose.

thanks lads :thumbs: , the ground not all like that lol, there are think edges as well , where you carnt see the ferret if its on the move :wallbash: . Yes it was nice for the little lad+ and the pup. only few rabbits but they have had few of there, as i said a good day to finish the season there:thumbs:
