If they are a citizen of the country in which they reside, then yes they should have a right to vote, i don't think many people have been on the dole all their lifes,

if thats the case then somethings NEEDS to be addressed, but their are those out there especially in todays economic enviroment who don't know when they may loose their

jobs but may have worked all their lifes too the point of being made unemployed,

Voting was introduced by the people for the people, no matter what social class, race, colour, creed, everyone has their right to have their say come voting day...

Not everyone on unemployment benifit wants to be unemployed, i've only ever been unemployed for a few weeks of my working life,

But i know loads of people professionals, computer programmers, builders, etc who are at this moment unemployed,

i just hope to god reading some of the comments, that some people never find themselves in that position.

while down on the farm today i was talking to my bosses daughter who works for the local job centre she said a circular went around about a national unemployed register and they say it is more like 6,million in this country that is unemployed...she said you have to add all the people on training schemes...as there is nowhere near enough jobs for them and the people who run them have been told to extend the training period...so nearly 6 million unemployed and only about 127.800 jobs nationaly with 116.245 jobs part time....so just over 11.000 jobs full time.
