im seeing metallica in july along with slayer, anthrax and megadeath and motorhead and biffy clyro gonna be a sweet weekend :D

Where's that at mate? bout time i had a good doo at at festival..

out of the bands you mention, tallica and megadeath are right up there.. proper stuff...

but if you're looking for a top metal outfit, relentless balls to the the wall stuff, slayer is THE band,

i've been listening for nearly 20 years.. and still no one can touch them!

i can still hold my own in the pit kid!..... Simoman, don't bother with the Arena's... unless you are standing and can get right near the front.... save your money!... outdoor festivals are great if you're on a bender with a bunch of friends, but tif you want to see a band all close and personal you need to be looking at smaller venus... like Rock City in notts, proper atmosphere down at the front!... ATB folks...

Used to visit Rock city every weekend as a youngster.....

I had my stag night there 11 years ago, beats the crap out of any rock clubs we have in Leeds. Newcastle Mayfair's a good club too

Fantastic night, shame about the wedding though....
