I enjoyed reading that. Have you got anymore pics of the dog? How was he when you got him out, was he injured at all? He did well by the sounds of things and I bet you were well chuffed.

He's Kye's dog so I'll let him fill in any details on the dog, but here's a photo.....

sounds like a good day had by all whats the average size of a coon .??that some weight..

They range 10-20 pounds average depending on area, food supply etc. and tend to get bigger the farther north you go. Used to see 18-24 pounds average where I used to dig. Good animals to dig to, being vocal and formidable. A good sporting animal for earthwork and widely regarded as pests to agriculture, poultry etc.

Hi mate,..

Not been yet, we have a trip planned, but the Choc dog is a little sore...them coon eating fecking anything and everything, and just the other night i seen one eating the stinky guts outta a road killed deer...his wounds are still tender, but FR has sorted me with some good meds and he is healing real nice....the place we may be going, they regular take 60+ coon in a weekend...we will have to take a load of terriers, maybe even a few Stags!..lol.
