mangy1983 51
yea i went to bulgaria Been there twice! Actually thought it was fantastic. Can't argue with 40 pence for 500ml beer bottles and l found the shish kebabs absolutely addictive! Only downside is Scottish whisky cost over £6 per dram. cheers Callum

I wouldnt go out any more if i was you the perils of working with livestock! know plenty of people killed on local farms, a neighbour took one too many chances with his bull and was trampled to death, another neighbour up the road was crushed behind his own tractor few years back- he had it on slow reverse in the shed + clearly wasnt paying attention when backed up on top of him- nowt left of his head- it was flattened. A lad I know was putting ear tags into a limousin calf, the calf squeeked and the cow (mummy cow!) came over and horned him, his guts were hanging out he managed to get help, they then discovered other problems with his blood due to a tick apparently. Ended up hanging himself a few months back.

CarraghsGem 92
a limousin cow with a calf is dangerous enough without her having horns! most temperamental breed ive ever had the misfortune to work with, native breeds + charolais are so much easier to handle
craigyboy 1,274
2 yrs ago while camping i decided to go swimming in the river eden,we had been waiting all week for the level to drop and on the day before we left i stupidly decided to jump in (even tho i knew it was fecking high)it was ice cold and everything was fine until i started to swim back and the undercurrent wouldnt let me swim back,i was swimming for what felt like 5 mins and i was no nearer the edge,so i decided to try an stand up and have a breather(another stupid decision)as i couldnt touch the bottom and i went under,by this time i was fooked i had no energy left at all,the wife and bro in law thought i was pissing about until i went under again i looked up and saw the sky replaced by water,at that point id given up,but thank fook the bro in law managed to get me out he said he realised i wasnt joking when i went under for the last time as my eyes had rolled back into my head and were just white,i aint religious but i thanked the lord that night that im still here with my family, and 1 thing about me changed that day....i dont swim in fecking rivers anymore
the fezz 44
i was in work last year carrying sylige on the farm , was backing the trailer in to the pit , started to tip the load , when the weight shifts the toe hitch hits the stopper , but the hitch snapped and the whole thing came strait up smashed throught the hydrollics in through the back window missed my head by inches and went up through the sun roof. never been so white in all me life , would have taken the back of my head off if i had not been siting forward rolling a fag , very close call
