who forgot his battery

well it all started on saturday afternoon the wind was blowing so i text wor kid and we decided to wait till midnight and see how the wind was ..well 10.15pm all the wind had gone and it was near enough perfect conditions but where wor kid lives it was raining and still windy so he pulled out by the time midnight came i was all ready flask,,gun,,pellets,, knife,,,lamp,,, blueberry muffins :whistling: and away i went i got to the permission about 01:30 NO BLOODY BATTERY!!! doh so i got myself settled for a couple of hours kip..lol

04:30 light begins to break so off i went within the 1st hour i had these

so back to the pick up for coffee n muffin (blueberry) after 20mins round 2 starts another hour of camping got me another 4

so far i had 9 squeelers in 2 hours i was well happy this 510 is turning into a cracking gun im so pleased i didnt get rid of it ...

the best shot if the day and so far of the year ...was lased 50mtrs and as the conditions were perfect 2mil dots hold over no wind at all so i had ago the little guy didnt know what hit him

anyway total for the few hours was 10 bunnies an to feral pigeons

 

wor kids gonna be gutted he didnt go

well your kid aint going to be happy he missed out on that matey cracking shooting there gary and nice pictures to i cant believe you forgot your lamp but a good excuse to camp out again buddy and very good shooting to and thanks again for yesterday been back this morning and nothing but had one mink but phone died on me and no charger in the car

but re baited the trap so lets hope their is one in there this time

Those first bunnies look like Speedies relations, only he's very light at the shoulders up and dark from shoulders down.

i drove 40 miles to one of my permissions, checked and double checked everything, parked up and walk about 2 miles to a hot spot for rabbits........whilst on the walk checked my pockets....pellets, knife etc.....kept turning the lamp on and off , yes everything fine......gonna be a good session , i thought.

 

got to where i wanted to be ......about 20 rabbits sat out in the only just still light field....excellent, i thought.

 

hang on .......somthings not right

 

wheres my f*****g GUN !!!!!!!!!

 

walked 2 miles back to the van........f**k ME .......left it at home, what a prize :wankerzo4:
