A windy day

Hi lads I was out for a shoot on the farm today but it was very windy I saw my first pigeon at 35 yard aimed and pulled the trigger. I missed! Only i could forget the wind effects the POI so moveing on i saw my seconed pigeon at arround 45 yard looking strait at me. So knowing if i tried to get closer it would fly away so i sat down rested my hw99s in .177 on my knee's and aimed 12 mill to the left of the pigeons crop (as the pigeon kept looking at me and moving its head). The pigeon dropped with out a flap of its wings but did not see any more for the next hour so decided to call it a day.
