luke. 9
Had a little walk out this morning as i havnt been out in a while. I left the house at 9.45am and tried a place where there is always a chance at something. I arrived at around 10.10am and off i went and within 10 mins i clocked a big fat pidgeon about 45-50yds away sitting comfortably in a big tree. I realised that if i take the shot i will most deffanatly miss but i couldnt get any closer so i bit my tongue and decided to leave it for another day and off i went. Within about 5 mins after that pidgeon i noticed a nice big squirrel mooching around the top af an old tree and decided to stalk it After a few minutes i had a clear shot at around 35-40yds and took aim, then the little shit decided to move on so i followed. My next chance came shortly after but to my suprise it was closer at a range of around 30-35yds so i took aim AGAIN held my breath and THWACKK !!! and down it went with a lovely head shot After this i decided th call it a day but do you think this squirrel is rather large, the shoe in the pic is a size 10 1/2. Thanks for reading all. Luke. Quote Link to post

It does look sizable indeed, now get her gutted and stripped and in the oven with a nice Cajun sauce Wish I had some on my permissions Phantom Quote Link to post
