vets had my eyes owt wat should i use

av got a 7 year old staff and shes lost a lot of her coat and got dry flakey red skin i tryed every thing i could think of but it got worse so it was of to the vets shes been scraped for mites sevel times and never foud 1 yet shes had a few corses of tablets that were slowly brining her coat back but shes still red and scrating dont any ideas

put some oils/fats in her feed if you are feeding dry kibble, if she is not getting lots of work/exercise and protein content of food is high this may not be helping condition.

Camarosa, Tea tree oil, these can relieve the itching and promote coat growth get the dog a course of steds and make sure anal glands are empty

I have found Sudocrem ( babys arse rash cream) is good to initially stop the irritation, and helps to keep area clean for re-growth. Not a scientific approach I know, but it does work. Hope this helps mate.

she was in in my kennels when this started mate a only moved her up home when it got worse

i have a bull whos had condition similar have you heard of a shampoo called maleseb white bottle blue writing and blue lion logo this works great

Try aludex, it is for poultry. but works look in the dog health section of this foroum loads people use it.

Try washing it in Head&Shoulders shampoo. Seriously, my dogs would get itchy skin and sores occasionally, this cools the skin right down and it is fairly harmless stuff. Worth a try. Tried the Camrosa stuff before but didn't think much of it.
