Was out lasting night for large dog fox I've been seeing. Some of the local 'guesters' have given him a hard time with the lamp I fear... Had in the crosshairs for a split second last night.........then legged it...My bad.

I give him till hogmanay.........and I'll have his tail...

Saw a few the other night, 6-7, but only had the rimmy, I could of taken them, but didnt, I tend not too. Took the .243 back, have seen maximum of one a night!!

Good shooting.

popped out for an hour tonight. had a quick walk around with the trip2. one was barking and barking, we just couldn't get him to come out the woods but two others came for a look. 150 yards and stopped never to run again.

going to have a look on another land tomorrow night so if it is anything like the walk around we did last week then it will be fun. we had 4 last Sunday.

Plenty about on top round me, can only put it down to the hard weather. Beating on saturday and managed to take 3 foxes all off of one drive, worked perfect! Saw 3 different foxes on the 2 drives before that. The terriers should start to account for a few more now.
