glens or wheatens?

Recommended Posts

Anyone out there had much experience (work or not)with either Glen of Imaals or Wheatens, if so what are their differences? I know their obvious physical differences but are their temperaments the same? I do like the look of both breeds, doubt if the missus will let me get another dog anyway but I am just interested.

Cheers.

a mate of mine works his glen and its a sneaky bastaard at grabing other dogs it, nearly killed his good weaton x lurcher, some of the boys on here might have seen it stuck to a beagle at a show during the summer,

Its a Wheaten for me. seems lot harder to get Glen's from the right lines for work, only a small amount of people working them now. A lot of lads still keep working wheaten lines to cross them back to hounds to breed lurchers out of them so more of them about.

Voon.
