whin will not put up with whingers and moaners they get told not happy well dont enter, there will be set rules like everything .but first and foremost you need game good land and cheap accomadaition, and expeirence , max i to love the hare been brought up in big land all my life, and got capable dogs for that game , but i like any type of lurcher work , at nite day time whatever , its all part of lurcher work ,the only time i dont like it is when theres no game for the dogs then well ,it gets abit boring , all depends whats on ,ye thta can be good max afew like minded people out for a run on a few swishis or rabbs, been doing thta for years with guys , not just rabbs tho all sorts , but to do it good you have to be up for the chase and no the lie of the land and were the qaurry is , no it gets harder to get qaurry at this time of year as ive hunted for along time ,but to have acomp you need game and good crack, no game no crack and it can be boring at times , any way all the best , its not going tobe as strict as the nlrc feild trails as ther will be alot of guys who dont train a dog up to that standard it will be more about natural ability and , drive to see wht dogs can do ,and owners but it will be fair

Whin, it's NOT the people who entered the comp that are moaning and spoiling it. It's people like yourself, Micheal (mark), and others who DIDN'T enter, who feel the need to come on here and run the competition down ! You will find out when you run your comp next year !

charti i would never had says anything about comp and says nothing if it had been done is a fine sporting fashion mate , i can only go on with what im told , now if ldr says to me i was out ,and i feel i have agreivanxce then i would say to the guys running the comp whats what ,ille not say to much more as its over and done now but i feel it was not done in true sporting fashion one if you slip adog and he doesnt chase the rabbit it should count as a loss two mixis dont count and well three make sure you got good land or decent places to run , s h has some good land down by for having a bit of anite and rabbits for everybody not half a dozen you need good land and good game to make it good , i no it doesnt always work but a bit od fore thought and travelin , i wouldnt take guys up to mines unles there was enough to test the dog and nor would alot of others and you shopuldnt lamp land nit after nit then in vite guests not the most productive way to sjho your freinds sport , just like pheasant shootingor anything else

Thats just it !! "On what you've been told" !!! You wern't in the comp, never judged a heat or even seen one, but you feel qualified to make judgments about something you know nothing about ! Well, you'll have your chance this year, when you run your competition, as I say, best of luck !!

hi i have never moaned whinged i let you get on with it but, if i see it going backwards rather than forwards and you are takin peoples money well you got a say something , if you say to me i need ex amount of game ill get you it if you say x amount of fish ile source it , so if you run acomp you need x amount of game and the [bANNED TEXT] places to find it or you have to go and find it easy ,no game no fun no comp was in a lurcher comp once, they had been up hunting it weekend before ,it was not to clever and alot of pissd of competitors,as,they had traveld far and wide to get there and had been there the year before and there was plenty , i wouldnt take you lobster fishing in november but june july august well you see lobsters just a example ,now think of it this way i say to use weel have anite out i no whats there ,so before you come up i no whats on , sh has good land down near wales if youse had thought rather than running it in your back yard you should has went down thers chase 20 30 rabbs had agood blast best dog wins end of rather than scratching about for less than ten rabbits, when you go on land ans see no game for 45 minutes its heart breaking when you have run miles to get there , just the way i see it maybe im wrong ,when you come up to mines ill tell you whats on ,and ui no were what is just adiffrent way of life all the best

ive saw young sh dog run i no the lad and the lad is agenuine hunting guy who i have respect for as he had the balls to come out and see sport with a genuine huntingh type of guy , he would never had says anything unles it was the truth ill says no more but i still feel its not been run in the best sporting manner , correct me if im wrong and ile apologise as im abigger man than most if im wrong im big enough to admit it full stop i have no favouritism to any man i let the dogs do the talking cause if they are no good they are gone , and if they are then the reezers full and family and butchers slab in times gone by

You know, I can't be arsed arguing with you anymore ! It's just going round in circles ! I've entered this comp both years, travelled many, many miles to run, had people stay at my house on a few occasions, judged heats and generaly tried to make it a success. What have you done ???? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, except run it down and brag how you would run it better, well this is definately the last post from me; I'll leave it to the people reading it to judge.

Edited to add; I have NEVER taken ANYONES money in this or the other comp !!! In fact, I'm out of pocket with this comp. Please get your facts right about taking peoples money !!!!!!!!

Whin, how can you have had blank nights with an empty game bag. You check the ground before-hand, got thousands of acres of land. Guarantee the lads good sport. Say there is no shortage of game on the land you have. Or could it be you were in the same situation as most other people, you never know if there is anything out there till you get there.

gin how do i know were game is doesnt take ablind man to no that if you live in arable country or sheep country , i find game i know were game lie its called thirty years of hunting serously and alot of its called game harvestin proper old fashioned huntin, and when i mean blank nite i mean a look round the gate openings nothing there you get on your hoofs and walk , was in back feild with pup last nite she got three good rabbits, and if i what something else you go were thye are feeding and try and get them ,,gin what vast knowledge do you have of poaching hunting game as you ask me what do i know ,why not ask the guys who have walked out with me there one coming up this morning he only tells the truth, i dont like liars or peole who bend the truth to much a winde ups good but can abide people bleating , i call aspade aspade mate youarrewelcome to find out if you wany as long as you are trustworthy and game

LOL !!!! I'm still the right side of 60, (just) !!!! And I puff and pant abit; but still get out day and night, and still keep up, (just), with the young'uns !!! Still a bit life in me yet !!!!
