anyone been to this before? its in august but i havnt had teh chance to get to any so far this year.. really wanted to go to the yorkshire one but thanks to being a godfather at a christening i couldnt!! how selfish of them!! my year wont feel right if i dont get to at least one so if this one is any good i will have a look cheers.

SATURDAY 14TH JULY. Pennine Foxhounds. Terrier and Lurcher show. Judging from 1pm on the showground behind the Ford Inn, 2 miles out of Holmfirth on the A635 Holmfirth to Manchester road. All usual classes including Plummer and Bull cross. Also Terrier and Lurcher pups including classes for under 6 months of age. Qualifier for other shows. Note; The prize for Best Entered in the Terrier class is a Bellman and Flint collar and box. There will be a different judge in the ring for this class.

Arrived nice and early on the Saturday to security not really knowing what was going on until somebody from Lurcherworld came over and got us let in to the ringside. Half price entrance for me and my old boy Bert, thanks again to Lurcherworld. Had a walk around the race track and showing rings as the carpark filled up and then went to watch the Pet dog coursing thing in the main arena. I've never seen so many turns in any type of course in my life and i don't think the lure went a full circuit until somebody took half of them out . Went down to watch the racing and gave old Bert a go in the -
