My sister had one a few years ago. Funny little thing. Very tame and very friendly, but a bit pointless. He was a weather (castrated male) so couldn't milk it. Hair was too short to clip it. And she wouldn't let me eat it, so just seemed to be a way of turning grass into shit... Strong as for his size. Have read about people training them to pull carts and the like. Very low maintenance on the care side, just needed his feet trimed once in a while. Easy enough to do if you have any experience with sheep. Best to get them dehorned at a young age though. Can sting a bit otherwise.

It was pretty mega wasn't it. A mate of mined died doing a BASE jump a couple of years ago. Poor b*****d got a 180 opening and was killed by a cliff strike. Ive done some parachuting, but BASE is definitely not for me. Full respect to the guys that do it though, you have bigger balls than most. Ug

Im a bit pissed so will probs regret this in the morning... but as night hunnter says, civilian deaths in conflict are unfortunate but an unescapeable reality of war. Unfortunately, insurgents in both Afghanistan and Iraq have used children as young as 6 as suicide bombers (http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4ACPW_enGB370GB379&q=child+suicide+bomber+afghanistan+guardian). The link is to a google search for articles on child suicide bombers in Afghanistan as published by the Guardian. When dealing with such individuals and cultures it is difficul

Speak to DnN. He bred a litter of spaniel x black terrier 18months ago. I had one, but she disappeared out my garden about 40 days ago. (see my post for more details) http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/159307-missing-dog/page__st__15. She was shaping up to be a good bushing dog. Previous litters of the same breeding have produced some very hand dogs. cheers Ug

I will shorty be moving to Germany for work. I have read some information on the internet about the requirements for German Hunters examinations. However this only talks about gun hunting (shotguns/rifles for deer and birds etc). Can anyone give me information on digging in Germany. What is legal quarry? Are licences required? Etc. Thanks very much. Ug

I dont think there is a need to get rid of people from the site for not posting. I have been a member for a while, but dont post much. I get out when I can and post when I have something I think is worth saying. I reckon a better idea would be to get rid of people misuing the shout box, or get rid of the shout box? Ug

Thanks hannah thats really kind of you. Ug

Thanks for the advice. I have called the council. There was a reported sighting of her yesterday, but when the dog warden turned up she had already moved on. There was a possible, but it was a full pat and long haired when I went to look. If anyone has lost a long haired pat bitch in colly the council have it. She has a full tail, not docked. Just looks docked in these photos cos she is waggin it. Unfortunately these are the only photos I have of her. I know a lad who has some better quality ones, just hope he still has them. I will post them when/if I get them. Thanks. Ug

She is black with a white blaze on her chest, white chin and white toes on ehr rear feet. She has a close smooth coat and a full tail. She is often mistaken for a labrador puppy. She is wearing a black nylon collar with tags and is microchipped. Last seen in the north station area of Colchester. I have had reported sitings of her on Causdon Road and North Station Road. At 5 points it is not the most impressive trophy, but the memory will stay with me for a long time. The hide is in my freezer. I plan on preserving it. I will boil out the skull and display them both in my gun room, when i get around to building it... cheers Ug

I completed my DSC 1 with Jon Snowdon of Greenlee in September last year. I applied for my FAC the same month and received it after approx 4 weeks. After a recent period away with work I used some of the money i had saved up to purchase a Remmington 700 in .243. I bought the rifle as a package from Bywell Shooting Ground. I came with a Bushnell 5-15 x 42 scope and a T8 mod. With the addition of a Harris Bi-pod and Butler Creek sling, and after a Saturday morning zeroing on a local range, I was ready to stalk. A local farmer and a golf course green keeper I shoot rabbits for had both g
