    The wye is the river I fish-between 3 of us this season we have caught around 130+ fish 6lb to 14 lb bags of chub,we fish for the pike next month.you ever seen the episode of Matt Hayes and mick brown fishing for pike/barbel on the wye?fished the same spots for 15 + years.alot of the stretches are blitzed these days fish are wising up but you can still bag up in the right spots-let me know when you planning the trip and I let you both fish as guests-atb dc

    I do abit of specimen fishing barbel,chub and carp off the top in the warmer months and pike after xmas.would like a 20 lb pike from a river this season and I'm still flat out trying to break my barbel and chub pb's had a few 6 's and 2 7's on the chub front.caught over 40 doubles on the barbel biggest so far 14 lb 6 ozs-I've had bigger in the past.not done alot last 2 months as I been busy with my terriers.     That's the way-if they are genuine/honest then you will get the feedback from them.before the ban we ran dogs bred same way and they would put some stuff away-the last dog indy died in my pals kennenls a year or two back worked out his age 16/17 yr old-that dog and another called muncher are still 2 of the best I've seen-didn't matter day/nite what you asked them to do it was done fullstop no f***ing about did things id never of believed if i hadnt seen it with my own 2 eyes-good luck and work them to the max.atb dc

    Fairplay fella impressed me that-only time I've ever got one to come in like that in the day was in the snow-way back before the ban and I had no lurcher-slipped the terriers and laughed like fook at the silly buggers yapping away to get smoked by old foxy.the things you see when you don't have the right tool for the job.atb dc

    All the years I've dug to my terriers or ran stuff with the lurchers I've never felt the need to take a pic of dogs with anything other than a few rabbits or rats.dug and despatched hundreds of fox but don't have one picture taken after the ban.Look out the window at my dogs and I know what I'm feeding...never felt the urge to film them to get a patt on the back.like it's already been said most of these lads never had the pleasure to work a dog before the ban-because they are barely into their twentys now lol.when the shit hits the fan they be the first to sing to save their own necks...that's
