    anyone spend time fishing for these awesome predators on the fen drains ? can be an unrewarding task at times and never easy but when it clicks it makes up for the lack fish over previous sessions , I done 10 years plus on the fens from the late 70s onwards, in them days their was little info on them and a few very secretive anglers . was also on the kennet, ouse and avon after barbel ,took 3 yrs to get doubles off them rivers and 10yrs to get doubles off the delph, ouse and middle level for zander, they was a serious challenge for me and my loyal fishing partner

    Refusing to vote does nothing. The scumbags will always vote for the people giving them a cushy life, which is exactly why labour let them all in in the first place - to have a captive electorate. Us not voting would only make it worse IMO. Voting for a party with a bit of backbone is the only way I can see us getting out of this. 100%

    your walking down a country lane and the paddocks either side have got bunnys running around on top during the day , you look for gaps in the barbed wire fence and theres none , you've got a lurcher with you that's not short of brains and you have a solid bond with him, he trusts you and you know his capabilities and wouldn't ever overface him, do you send him over to catch or carry on walking and think about swapping your lurcher for a pug to take for a walk down the lane instead ?

    the problem is generalisation in all types of running dogs cos a man seen 3 9 0r 15 same types of dogs run he hasn't seen them all, owners play a big part esp with this bitch, also the whipp in the pics is a very good at her job day or night , I seen her catch more than enough day bolters over a few days and she wasn't near fit , if the owner was a numbers man which he aint that bitch could gather up 50 in a night no problem when fit ive no doubt ,well done trev poppy doing what we know she can do

    while the pie n eels were going down I got busy knocking up me paella cataplana 1st x started with the chillies and peppers out the garden wjth garlic and onions added toms n basil and white wine , got busy with chirizio , chicken scallops prawns and served up grilled halibut on a bed of mussels done the rice with saffron was real nice but didn't get the colour I can work on that

    didn't know there was one in Debden ,is it any good? I been getting over the north weald air base for brekkie in the squadron base, grilled bacon and tomatoes and all that lolNot far from me that....a mate of mine has a company on the little trading estate right down the bottom of the airfield they use the brekkie van out of that base....small world eh.Theres a little gym down there aswell,When I was picking teazle for the birds I noticed it. Dont know if its any good or not. Never neen to a gym in me life lol I got a mate called jim lol
