  6. Thank you very much Sir! In order to answer the question the material is indeed resonable priced, the natural good quality ivory is very expensive. The bone/horn etc. looks really nice once engraved (attached is a squirell on moose horn i made for a customer) - it has a lifelike appearence. The alterantive material is also very nice and it is used for items that needs dimensional stability during long periods of time. All the best, Bogdan

These 2 are some pendants i made for my lady 2. These are some comissions: lizzard belt buckle, a watch dial for a scuba diver (weird thind to wish a shark on it ) and another one prepared with an argali sheep for a hunter (unfortunately i have no pics with it mounted). Hope you like them! All the best, Bogdan

  10. If you want to make yourself an anchor that wont bend then you will need to work with some carbon steel (you cannot harden mild steel ). Take a suspension spring from a car, cut 3 semi circle pieces with an angle grinder (i would also sharp their point a little) and then weld them on a piece of mild steel or even iron that has a buckle on one end for the rope and you will have a very durable and cheap anchor. All the best, Bogdan
  11. Very good shooting - it is not an easy task to put down a crow even with a firearm so even more impressive with the airgun (they are very inteligent critters and very hard to approach). I usually hunt them with the .22 or at their nests with the shotgun. All the best, Bogdan
  12. Very nice furred pigeons Nice shooting mate - i am sure they will taste at least as good as the pigeons. All the best, Bogdan
  13. This leather pouch is the ideal way of carrying small things (a compass, wire saw, cell phone etc.) while outdoor, camping, hunting or fishing. With a classic design it can also be worn while into the city, to carry your phone, money, cigarettes and other small stuff in a safe yet elegant way. Wet molded out of 4mm vegetable tanned ox leather it will offer your items a very good protection in case of shocks, while the natural waxes that are applied onto the leather will efficiently repel water. For your comfort, it is provided with a one hand operated clasp that will securely close the pouch.
  14. When at the shop there were lots of folks that came with this issue - it is for sure the fact that the gun does not fit you (the easiest way that will cost you only few pounds would be to change the recoil pad with a thicker or thinner one - as you feel it fits you) and adjust the tilt of the stock using the "washers" that came with your gun (option usually available on the new generation semiautomatics). On top of this do not hold the gun too tight - let it fit itself when shooting. All the best mate, Bogdan
  15. The deer population is still high only in the Private areas - in the "state" parts thay are also hunted to extinction (usually with hounds). 15 years ago there were so many game animals that you couldn't imagine - Carpatian deers (that are huge in size - sometimes they are almost like a cow ), wild boars very big also (the biggest i harvested was near 300 kg) lots of brown bears (which are still in place - i suppose that this is because they are not very tasty ) and others. All the best, Bogdan
  16. I suppose it will be the same. I shot the .22 in the shooting range and i feel it like an airgun (very nice confortable feeling). Speaking of the price - in here a .22lr would cost between 30 and 100 GBP at max (second hand but very good condition). All the best mate! Bogdan
  17. Ok understood the idea here Indeed our jackrabbits are the hares and they usually live in the field not in burrows - we are only allowed to shoot them durin daytime and with nothing more or less than a shotgun (unfortunately as the poaching is a national sport in here they are almost extincted with airguns, traps, hounds, rifles - i suppose that the next step will be the machinegun ); Related to this i admire your responsible style of hunting in the UK. All the best friends! Bogdan
  18. Very good shooting! I have a question as i saw that most of the hunting is done over night - during the daytime the bunnies are hidden in their holes or is just very hard to approach them (asking this as we hunt jackrabbits commonly during the daytime) ? All the best, Bogdan
  19. Very good shooting - it is not easy to hit your mark at 112 yds at night. How does the .17 acts compared to .22 (both .17 and .22 are not allowed for hunting here : ). All the best, Bogdan
  20. Hey @The one - thank you for your nice words
  21. Thank you boys - glad to be here!
  22. Really nice images - they all seem so close; i was always fascinated about wildlife photography but never had the time to act What camera are you using? Very well done mate, keep them comming. All the best! Bogdan
  23. There are two options in there: - if you wish to relax and enjoy the landscape as the other fellows already said focus on a light rod, very thin fishing line (0.14 would be best) and tiny (no.16-18) hooks with a light float; use maggots as bait or thin earthworms - you will catch lots of small to medium fish but you will have fun. - second option would be to get yourself some heavy gear - the carp rod which you can use as a feeder (even if it was not meant for this ) - a coarse groundbait mixed with a little clay (you have to launch it at least 10-15m above your fishing spot) and some thick
