Appreciated mate ! got a bit tucked up already on a couple sifted through what I wanted and got rid of the rest to the pet shop . I haven't kept birds for years and when I did I only dabbled as a younger man I never had the time to give if I'm honest , my little ones are taking an interest which is good . Any advice is greatly recieved . And when you have any bits come up let me know mate . Cheers

I have a pair of black hooded red siskins feeding each other bit not much else , demorphic yellow on eggs , border on eggs and another border that's nested and the cocks mated her. Looking for young demorphic , mosaic , frosted red factors , red canaries also black hooded red siskins and bullfinches to buy in. I'm breeding and buying in this year to fill the avairy which I hope will be ready end of the summer

The jobs within the comunity are endless beaches and moorland common land to litter pick and keep clean. public toilets ,subways,phone boxex to clean,graffiti to remove and for already skilled or trade people there are plenty of community projects they could be involved in . The BNP are deluded but some of there proposals were good. after leavibg school the unemployed youths are a massive % of crime and inturn a huge costly drain if they were in the army this would cut down as would the dole payments if they didnt volounter and were selected due to not working for two years ,I cant see why

Im of the opinion this should have been implemented a decade ago also,but the labour government was far to soft the same lot who banned huntting because of protests from city people who didnt like the thought of it ! I must admit when the tories were voted in I was worried but it seems they have dealt with this crissis fairly well , I agree with getting dolies working as if there doing nothing why not get them helping out there local communities, and if they refuse they should get there dole docked. Whats your views on the governments new white paper. That if people are unemployed for two years they have to then earn there dole money by picking up rubbish and general cleaning of public places and services. this will envolve signing on everyday and doing tasks.if missed or refusal to work they will stop all benifits for a month if it happens again 3 months. Also people with drink and drug addictions will no longer be on the sick but treated seperatly for addiction and will have to enroll on similar courses involving re-hab failure to do/complete rehab and drug/drink tests will inturn tak

Once a law is passed it will never get reveresed , and if it does get reveresed it will have to be deemed an illegal law , or the public outcry would have to have an extremely good case to back up there outrage . And if this was the case the best you would get is a referendum and there's more of them than there is us . So we are where we are , can't see it ever changing apart from the last bit of hunting that allows dogs , rabbit rat ,bolting etc . I got mine with a slieghtly varried past ,let it run out though money is shit ,i did it 15 years ago first and got the same money last year. but they make you sign the book to say your in and take of tax off you ,my old man worked the door through late 70s to early nighties and was getting the same money then as most of the boys on the door do now ! . To many store detectives and security guards that have been put through the course have saturated the door scene and lowered the price. If you dont get your badge you aint missing much

Not sure if there all gone its just many peoples circumstances change and people dont go on as much due to the same posts all the time i,ve met some very good guys who where a wealth of knowledge on the dogs ive asked about also nutrition ,training ,racing all sorts a few have totally left as the general topics are monitered more ,have to be more politically correct which in this day and age is needed .But there is quite a few NEDS and DIVS that seem to get incensed by a different opinion or a different type of x or sombodys different view which useally leads to threats and other pc violence l

What is the weight of flesh / bone to dogs weight ratio . When I tried feeding just raw meat there was a ratio I went off it was quite a while back but im sure it was sandymere who gave me a link.

I also had a 14 lb vixen which seems a fair size for a vixen not sure what the record is far less than a dog fox I presume

Ye rio that's my understanding to but I've seen very tightly bred dogs that became very dull and smaller than there previous grand sires and after an out cross much better standard of dog , maybe it wasn't so much huybred vigour but a renewed vigour could of just simply been the out cross was a better type and threw better pups it's all a mystery to me but an interesting mystery all the same.

Bird that's a good call , but if we are talking about a lurcher or any other non pure blood dog or x surly it would have had it's in flux of hybrid vigour already but I do agree if you had a very tight line of dogs generation after generation I'm sure an out cross to a similar type that's carefully chosen would be needed for another dose of hybrid vigour,
