ive often pondered this if you have a line you like and its bred very closely (maybe to closely in some cases)this chucks out all the good traits in one dog and all the bad in another from the same litter im talking no phyiscal defects just one dog excells at catching,killing retrive,gameness the sibling on the other hand is genetically and physically equal but has not got the any killer instinct drive or speed ,further down the line the only one left to keep the line tight is the bad one of the litter but it has everything genetically you want would you breed of this dog just a thought.

thought bedlingtons were mute.compared to other terrrier types ive never owned one or seen one work but my had a couple said they were mute .

shut up talking shit yes but the thinking was just a bit of collie into the mix for brain,stamina etc as we no the bullx is a hard dog in genral and the collie x intelligent is a great rabbitter but is not just for rabbits as some make good fox dogs what were people using before the bullx ! as i stated before i dont want a cock swinging compition between bullx and collie x boys or im not intrested in opinions of those who have had either of the crosses seperatly, just people who work or own a bullxgrey with collie in the mix somewhere im thinking further down the line for my bullx which is

really like the look of that dog mate ,hes a credit to you looks in very good condition too.what sort of hight tts is he and whats his weight have you tried him on various quarry retriving etc ,pm if you wantcan you compare him to a stright bullx his strengths and weaknesses etc.

so this dog is half collie 1/4 bull 1/4grey is that correct ? as i would have expected him to look quite cobby as he very racey looking .good to seee hes coming on well .

very intrested in learning more about bullx s with a dash of collie in them how they work in relation to a stright bull x ,dont want to stir up collie x boys against bull x boys ,not intrested in listening to that crap .this is a genuine post i want to know if the extra intelligence takes a great deal away from the courage of the bull x or makes them more efficient in killing/catching only intrested in peoples views with actuall experience of seeing these dogs work not people who think how they would work cheers BULL.

would never line breed not into that . what i do is to as i have said before get the best stud dog i can and to try and repilcate my bitch by keping back the pup that is most like her mother as she was as a pup thats ok if your just after a bitch to "look like " the original bitch (feno type ) i think is the word for that type of breeding ,but the charicteristics of the dog could be completly different ,if as you say you want to "replicate the bitch" by this i presume you mean for her working attributes gamness,speed ,tennacity etc as i belive most people who breed out of there bitch wa

Forget the north south devide, Does anyone actually know if and a big if the tories get in ,will they repeal the hunting act or will it just go down to a vote in a minorty run parlimant because if this happens it will still be banned , As said there is more to voting a party in than nieavly thinking they will repeal an act that is immposible to repeal as they wont have enough seats to vote it in anyway. thanks for all your replies ,i remember buying a self sufficiency book years ago as ive had this bit off land over a decade done nothing with it,dug it out its that book by john seymour that robbo recommended ive never read it,until now. its absouloutly brilliant, the land had varied uses and the topsoil was not to good so i scrapped back to level and start again and the local council phoned me and asked when i was going to put soil back in so there happy to see the raised beds going in . ive planted over 20 fruit trees over the years around the perimeter and various soft fruits rasberry,red

hi all this is a bit of a new venture for me ,ive had a bit of land for years only small ,its a rectangle about400ft long and 50ft wide it is south facing ive put up a block of chicken runs and put fruit trees and fruit bushes around the outside,the ground is of poor quality but im going to have about hundred ton of topsoil delivered, Im wondering if anyone knows of a good layoput for a vegg,herb ,fruit etc and what rotations to plant stuff where do the perrenials go etc i know nothing about this type of stuff any useful links ,ideas or plans will be appreciated much thanks BULL.

yeah they reckon he was some dog but its head had gone he was a nice dog think he went to ireland last i had herd I was talking to the guy who bought jake ,and brought him to plymouth today ,ive seen the dog a few times he had very bad feet ,asked the guy what he thought of him he said what he said when he bought him ,"he was a very game dog" but was very unlucky with injurys .he swapped hands down here a few times and got sold up the line an ultimatly went to ireland .theres a few boys on here who went out with him so there more qualified to give there opinoin than me as i never saw him w
