A lot of lads I know shoots 48 rabbits but rounds the number up to 50 if they shoots 39 it's 40 do that every time you go out when you get upto 17,000 you'll be a few short of that I'm not referring to your post 5 feet down don't be like that you know I like you a lot ill have to call up are you still living in the top flat next door to pablo

Foxes from city's can't adapt to live in countryside proven not to work .foxes from countryside released back into countryside is proven to work they know how to survive

A good pack of hounds only ever speak if it's chosen quarry is found if it's chosen quarry is not found during the days hunting they will not be heard all day they will be steady with livestock They will draw automatically with the want to find all day and not needed to be pushed. they will also mark correctly and very vocally. They will have drive and stamina to be able to run all day from 9 till dark come November . They will have reasonable voices so they can be heard for miles. last of all very good noses because a hound can't run anywhere without a good nose to lead him

Nothing wrong with releasing foxes after all the rspca do it regular releasing problem foxes from the city into the countryside at least cusack is just moving country foxes back into country which I admire a man for shows a lot of respect for the animal. Very good thread this you get to know the summer hunters and failed terrier men and the ones that have no respect for quarry you don't have to look to hard for them they comment straight away when someone writes a post of respect to the fox

There was a estate once adjoining a farm owned by the master of a hunt the gamekeeper would rifle foxes at night and deliberately hang them on the adjoining fence by the driveway leading up to the farmhouse just to rub the masters nose in it . But the farmer master soon stopped that pretty quick he put pheasant feeders on his ground which drew hundreds of pheasants onto his ground then every other Sunday him and is two sons would go out and shoot a pile eat and give away what they could but making sure there were plenty to hang on the fence where the foxes would be hung the keeper funny enou

Don't be scratching your head guys when going to earth's in November and there's nothing home and the farmer says we had some guy out lamping back in summer shot 12 with a rifle at night he had a recording of a cub in distress the foxes just came running in he had a couple of thousand pound rifle which if a four year old used it they couldn't miss with. He a local guy from village i wasn't having any trouble funny enough he was asking me for years to shoot but I didn't take him up on it but he can come every summer now . Anyway mate how's the dogs going? There will be that topic on here

Could be haiddheliwr I did say neighbours in the area wasn't loosing. farmers where I'm from lamb at the same time probably try and plan to lamb as the grass starts growing and weather starts breaking

A ewe will naturally protect her lamb she will stamp her feet at a fox as well as making herself look big keeping the lamb underneath her and try and head but a fox when it is trying to take her lamb some foxes are a little cautious when a ewe does this .what they do then is run a circle around the the ewe and lamb making the ewe panic and try to chase the fox off forcing her to leave the lamb the fox then comes off his circle and takes the lamb. Some foxes are good at this and get the hang of it quite good but the way the ewe protects the lamb can be equally good to forcing the fox to m

It is not as easy as some might think for a fox to take a lamb off a ewe some on here probably wouldn't know how it's done.

Farmers naturally panic when seeing a fox or two around lambing time although they not having any trouble with fox they call someone to shoot they then shoot the dog so the vixen then has to rare cubs on her own and then the farmer starts having trouble because the vixen is weak and starts killing lambs in desperation. Where as the dog was traveling miles every night finding dead lambs supporting the vixen

What argument do I need to win clowny it's not rocket science that shooting dozens of foxes this time of year ruins the season sport but obviously you can't see that. People always say they don't like doing humm why keep a rifle then. How many dogs do you use in one earth on call outs off farmers just the two at the same time is it? like I once read on here and you once wrote about.
