    I Know mate always thought the same but the only couple Of lads i know of putting two Merles together, the pups had no problem

    I breed a litter and me and my mate kept one back , they started of well but didn’t make good enough in the end. The brother to my bitch I’m running at the min got hit by a car last week and killed mate but luckily he did line the Merle bitch before which was a mistake but the lad is well happy it happened now

    The Merle bitch I was running last season, she was good on hedges but started easing up near walls, the pups will be 1/2 whippet greyhound the rest collie beddy mix, I wish there was more beddy than collie and I’ll not be picking a Merle if I have a choice ?

    Cheers ? yes Tomo she’s 20’’ I’ve just had the tape out to make sure because yes she looks bigger but it must be because she’s strong, no plans to breed for a while yet mate but a litter out of her litter brother is going to drop in two weeks time and I’m getting gifted the pick of the bitches out of them if all goes well mate

    If any one is thinking about spending the daft money that they are wanting for a ped whippet at the min keep your money in your pocket if your looking for a good rabbit dog, they are out there and I got lucky owning one but I've wasted a lot of time and money looking for another, I'd say 80% of ped whippets are not as good on rabbits as a lurcher and the only first cross whippet lurcher that is any good is a whippet x greyhound.

    He's beddy x whippet greyhound Tomo, he's still around and still doing the same at the age of ten, he's the dog I want my mate to put over his brindle bitch.

    The way a lot of lurchers worked 30 years back but seem hard to find these days.

    Not that I know of that kept him on the bed for a long time but I'm sure he got like Tilly as had many cuts and a odd broken toe but they just carry on?
