    Cheers fellas, like I've said on another post it's all coming at the wrong time of year so it's a race against time to do what we can. I went to look at large farm and grouse moor on Friday, I've got to make a start on the hill sides of the farm and the next farm on and then I can hit the grouse moor next season so back there this Friday then back to the coast on Sunday ?.

    I know a litter that are 12 month old mate with no problems. I'm ok mate I'm happy with this young bitch that's not 3 years old until September and I've been offered a pup out of 2 litters as gifts if the bitches take ?.

    He bred the sire to the pups but not long after he lined the bitch he got hit by a car and killed so he took the chance so he could keep the line mate.

    No mate I'm not taking a chance, my mate that goes out with me with his brindle bitch is lining her as soon as she comes in season so I'll wait for one of them. As far as I know he's had all the white ones put to sleep but the two full merles that have a chance of going blind he's found a lady wanting both as pets mate.

    All ways thought this should never happen but I have been told by some they have done it with no problem so when a lad offered me a pup out of his Merle bitch after his Merle dog had lined it by mistake, both being handy rabbit dogs I took him up on his kind offer. Six pup were born the lad was keeping two for himself he was gifting me one and the other three had working homes to go to but when their eyes opened three had no eyeballs one was blind and the vet said the other two could go blind at anytime .     Not getting paid Tomo it's for the permission mate, they want us to make a start so we'll show our faces for a month or two doing the easy bits then see how it goes. We can shoot it but that's never been my thing.

    Going to look at a estate at the weekend on the Yorkshire coast that they want clearing so could be at it for a while yet ? Atb

    When you call to see a land owner that you’ve been clearing rabbits for him for the past 8 years so the numbers are getting low so he turns round and says have you been on so and so land that we rent or have I not told you about that spot ??, plenty on but the wrong time of the year , roll on next season ?

    She's doing ok mate cheers ?, Poppy just gets in the way these days but I give her a day out now and then.

    Don’t do much lamping these days but had a couple of hours walk last night with a mate and his lurcher that’s my kind of looking lurcher ? About 24'' tts beddy whippet greyhound x collie greyhound.

    Never seen any Kind of ACD lurcher work until yesterday when a lad came up with his new bitch , she had a good turn of speed , strike, a good nose and her retrieve was bang on ?

    It’s taken me a long time to realise that mate ? I’ve never seen the perfect dog. Might have to put up with one or two with my next pup ? they was all some sort of Merle, my pup was the only bitch in the litter and she’s the full Merle , still a nice gift that I’m great full for off the lad ?

    cheers, She’s do well but like most when you give them plenty I’ve seen a couple of things I don’t like . I’ll see how she goes next season which should be her best with her just turning three years old at the start of it.
